We’ve landed a monumental partnership with Network Rail!

We’re beyond excited to announce a monumental partnership with Network Rail.

After almost four years of meticulous planning, bespoke development and negotiation, the partnership officially commenced in January this year – and stands as our most expansive client relationship yet. 

Who are Network Rail?

Network Rail owns, repairs and develops Britain’s entire railway infrastructure. That includes over 20,000 miles of track, 30,000 bridges, tunnels and viaducts – as well as thousands of signals across over 650 railway stations. To manage this, they have one of the largest fleets of vehicles in the UK. 

What does the partnership consist of?

Essentially, Network Rail have integrated the CheckedSafe app across their vehicle fleet – which currently means our platform is being used by over 44,000 employees at Network Rail and across 10,000 vehicles. This is a fantastic opportunity for us and places our company at the forefront of Network Rail’s vehicle compliance.

For the team here at CheckedSafe, we couldn’t be prouder of this achievement. As a Burnley-based business, this project demonstrates our capability to cater to complex, large-scale operations and strengthens our position as the industry leaders for vehicle compliance and fleet management. 

How have we adapted our services to such a large fleet?

Due to the sheer size of Network Rail’s fleet – our collaboration has also resulted in the creation of numerous custom features and bespoke development.

Among these new solutions is an NFC keyring system designed to offer a secure and efficient user identification mechanism for Network Rail’s extensive 44,000-person workforce. This allows for seamless access to individual CheckedSafe app profiles across a variety of devices without the need for cumbersome email and password login methods.

We have also developed a unique API software that allows Network Rail greater segmentation and insight into their nationwide network of vehicles – as well as numerous other bespoke features.
