Darran Harris
Co Founder, Director and Solicitor
Darran is a Solicitor and Commercial Mediator with over 20 years experience specialising in Litigation (specifically Road Traffic Issues) and Employment law.
Darran has worked with major logistics companies and large blue-chip clients dealing with Litigation, Compliance and Road Traffic Incidents. Darran has successfully represented clients at Public Enquiries with Gary Hawthorne.
Gary Hawthorne
Co Founder, Director and Transport Consultant
Gary is a Transport specialist with 30 years of experience from Operator level to local and national Government (including overseas) and as owner Operator of a successful commercial operation.
Gary is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, a Fellow Member of the Society of Engineers, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Road Traffic Engineers, a Commercial Mediator, and a DVSA Acreddited Earned Recognition Auditor.
Alex Harris
Degree Apprentice
Alex’s role consists of dealing with new enquiries, administration duties, attending trade shows and building relationships with customers.
Outside of CheckedSafe, Alex is undertaking a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship at Manchester Metropolitan University. His favourite part of the role is the flexibility within it and working with the CheckedSafe team.
Kirsty Astin
Client Relationship Manager
Kirsty is our Client Relationship Manager. Having been a valued member of our team since 2019, we rely on her for her keen eye for detail and organisational skills. Her role involves account management, invoicing and leading our client relations team.
Always one to keep busy, outside of work, Kirsty enjoys rock climbing and cross-fit – and has also recently become a Scout Leader. She is also raising two young children!
Lyndsey Stevenson
Customer Relations Advisor
Lyndsey is a Customer Relations Advisor, and she’s been with us since July 2021. Lyndsey comes with a wealth of experience having once been a Fleet Manager maintaining 160 vehicles! Her role consists of dealing with client enquiries, hosting online demonstrations of our services, leading training sessions with clients and guiding them through their trial periods. Her favourite part of the role is getting to work with such a great team and welcoming new clients on board.
In her spare time, Lyndsey looks after her daughter and enjoys making memories with her family. She also enjoys keeping fit by walking and swimming!
Sally Simpson
Customer Relations Advisor
Sally’s role involves managing incoming calls and emails, onboarding new clients and hosting online demonstrations and training sessions. Having worked in highways industry for 15 years and 12 years as a Transport Administrator, Sally loves sharing her expertise with others and working as part of our team.
At home, Sally loves getting her dog out for walks and enjoys spending valuable time with her friends and family.
