We have a history of dealing with the bus industry because one of our co-founders Mr Gary Hawthorne ran a bus company for many years. When we started to develop CheckedSafe our primary market was the bus industry because of the connection with Gary Hawthorne
The Bus industry is a challenging market for any supplier because of the tight margins that all operators operate under. Put simply every penny counts and if a bus company is going to part with their hard earned income they have to make sure that the product that they are purchasing is both fit for purpose and will assist the business generally
The UK Bus Awards are judged by people within the industry so it is especially pleasing for us that those judges recognise the benefit of a system like CheckedSafe for the bus industry
Some of CheckedSafe’s first customers were from the bus industry and from there we moved onto other areas of the transport industry. It gave us some very useful insights into the problems facing operators.
To now be shortlisted taking us back to where we started is a huge achievement.
We are looking forward to attending the awards ceremony in London on the 23rd November 2016. Fingers crossed.
