We realise that in this time of crisis, it is critical that we make it possible for you to continue your operations and we want you to know that at this important time, you can count on us to be there to support you and your business.

We are planning to carry on as normally albeit it remotely by making use of video-conferencing for online demonstrations, online meetings and Remote Assistance”. We are also contactable via phone, mobile and email.

Our thoughts are with those who have been affected personally by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the many communities around the UK that are facing extreme measures in the attempt to slow its spread.

We will keep everyone updated with any further developments.

Add COVID-19 Symptoms to your Checks

As you are aware, we create bespoke check templates tailored to your company/asset requirements and therefore we can add a new question to your current check very quickly.

With this in mind, we can add a COVID-19 question(s) to your current “Fit to drive” declaration or even create a separate daily check for you, if you think this will be of a benefit to you, please let us know.

Disable Unused Vehicles: These vehicles will not be charged

We are fully aware on what effect COVID-19 is having on businesses, some of our clients are now operating on a reduced timetable or with fewer vehicles on the road.

We have therefore created a new option in the VOR (Vehicle off Road) section that enables you to add COVID-19 as the reason, this will then mark the vehicle disabled and means the vehicle will not be charged *.

If you need to disable an unused vehicle, please

  • Select “Vehicle” and then “View Vehicles”
  • Input the vehicle registration in the “Vehicle Registration” field and press search
  • Select your registration number
  • Navigate to “VOR History”
  • Enter “Start” date
  • Select a “COVID-19)
  • Enter “Additional Information” (optional)
  • Enter “Current” mileage
  • Press “Submit”

*Vehicle/asset will need to be disabled for 1 ISO week for it not to be charged. E.g. if a vehicle is marked of road for Monday and Tuesday and then the VOR is ended on Wednesday, it will still be charged however, if a vehicle/asset is marked VOR from Sunday to Sunday, it will not be charged for that week.

As this situation evolves, we will proactively reach out if there is additional support we can provide. In the meantime, if you have any further questions about CheckedSafe or our response to COVID-19, please contact us.

Yours Sincerely
