  1. Can you tell us about your role as Transport Manager at Vicovanu and the type of fleet you manage?

A) As Regional Transport Manager at Vicovanu, I provide strategic oversight of compliance and operational standards across a fleet of around 50 articulated lorries. My role focuses on ensuring robust compliance frameworks are in place, monitoring performance, and supporting the wider transport operation to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory adherence

  1. Before using CheckedSafe, what were the biggest challenges you faced managing vehicle compliance and daily checks?

A) Before introducing CheckedSafe, the company was using a mixture of app-based and paper-based walkaround checks. This created inconsistencies and made it difficult to maintain full visibility across the fleet. One of the main challenges was identifying missed checks, as the process wasn’t fully centralised, which increased the risk around compliance and required additional time to monitor and follow up.

  1. You’ve used CheckedSafe across multiple companies, what has led you to continue using us?

A) I’ve implemented CheckedSafe across multiple companies, and it has consistently proven to be reliable and easy to use. The system offers strong functionality, particularly around reporting, which makes managing compliance much more straightforward. Its consistency and performance are key reasons I continue to choose it.

  1. How easy was it to implement CheckedSafe at Vicovanu?

A) The initial setup took a few weeks, mainly to prepare driver details and customise the checks to suit our operation. Once everything was in place, the rollout was smooth and well received. We’ve since achieved a 99.995% usage rate of the app, with only 0.005% of checks not completed in the last week, which demonstrates how successfully it has been adopted.

  1. How have your drivers and team responded to using the system?

A) As with any change, there was some initial resistance from drivers, mainly due to moving away from familiar processes. However, once they became used to the system, feedback turned positive. Drivers now find it straightforward to use, and it has become part of their daily routine.

  1. What measurable benefits have you seen since using CheckedSafe?

A) Since implementing CheckedSafe, we’ve significantly reduced paperwork, with all drivers now fully using the app. Defect reporting is faster and more efficient, allowing issues to be identified and addressed quickly. One of the most noticeable improvements is the ability to track and identify missed walkaround checks, which has helped us achieve a very high compliance rate, with only 0.005% of checks missed last week.

A) I would definitely recommend CheckedSafe. It’s a reliable, user-friendly system that improves visibility, reduces admin time, and supports strong compliance across the fleet.
