CheckedSafe digital solution delivers more effective compliance as it enables Transport Managers to view greater detail about vehicle check completions and identified defects to manage them through to completion more effectively.
It also enables trend reporting to quickly identify repeat issues to assist with preventative measures. This directly aligns with Amey’s Target Zero strategy and Zero Code message.
It also allows managers who are working remotely to immediately view and rectify any non-conformities in relation to vehicle checks which improves compliance.
Cost Savings
There is a clear cost saving to the business as a result of implementing digital processes. In the simplest form, the cost of the application per vehicle/driver per month is cheaper than the paper book and therefore realises an absolute saving immediately.
By attributing a cost to the efficiencies gained by utilising the vehicle check App as an example, we estimate our potential savings to be over £360k per annum.
